SERVICES
Evolution Studios is the Seattle-area's first fully equipped hourly rehearsal facility. We are proud to say that we've been serving local, national and international bands for over 30 years! Our goal is to provide all musicians with a professional and affordable rehearsal studio environment.
The convenience of having fully equipped studios has proven to be a practical solution for many bands, both local and touring. This process works to your advantage as well as to ours, there's a lot less time spent setting up and breaking down gear. All of our studios are outfitted with guitar and bass amps, drum sets (cymbals not included, rental available upon request), and a PA system with microphones.
The majority of bands at Evolution are performing regularly as well as touring across the states and overseas. We enjoy getting to know everyone's name and to become familiar with any needs they may have. We take our business seriously to ensure that everyone is productive and makes the most of their time while working here... that's very important to us, after all we're musicians too!
STUDIOS

Our studios range in size from 14'x18' up to 20'x25'. They're all well organized, properly maintained, and have functional equipment. They are heated, air conditioned and some even have windows. For your convenience, each room is equipped with professional gear from leading manufacturers. We encourage everyone to play on their own equipment if that's more comfortable. Although cymbals are not provided, they are available for rent (please reserve in advance).
To rent any other equipment that isn't already included or if you have special requests, please make arrangements ahead of time. We're more than happy to cater to specific needs and unique situations. When scheduling an appointment, please be aware of our 24 hour cancellation policy.
PARKING - We have a large amount of free, secure and well lit parking with easy load in. Sound Transit's new 2 Line is now in service and can be taken directly to the BelRed Station located steps from us.
RATES
- Small Studio (14'x18') .......... $30/Hour
- Medium Studio (18'x18') ....... $35/Hour
- Large Studio (20'x25') .......... $40/Hour
We offer several different studio options to choose from, this helps us match the right size and price to best fit your situation. Regardless of budget, everyone has equal access to our studios, whether your label pays for it, or you cover the cost yourself. We require a two hour minimum on all rehearsal sessions. Sometimes special situations may allow us to make exceptions if our schedule permits. Please contact us to discuss further details.
RATE CHANGE: January 1st, 2025, we'll be making a small adjustment to our rates. There will be a $5.00 increase per hour for all room rentals.
We last updated our pricing in 2019, but rising costs mean it's time for this change in order to operate smoothly. If you have any questions or concerns, reach out to me directly.

THE "PLEASE DON'T F US OVER" CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged (equal to 100% of rental amount). This gives us the opportunity to open the room for another band. We appreciate your cooperation.

COVID CONTROL AND PREVENTION
Our COVID safety practices are focused on keeping everybody safe while working together.
- All studios and surfaces are cleaned and disinfected.
- If anyone is not feeling well, we ask that you please stay home!
- We encourage everyone to bring their own microphones for sanitary reasons.
